June Newsletter Update

It has been a while! Forgive my absence. No, I didn’t fall down a well or get abducted by aliens. Either of those would’ve been more enjoyable than the mountain of yard work gobbling up my time. Between weeding, building patio furniture, and protecting baby ducks from hawks, I’ve barely had a chance to write.

With the weeds and furniture behind me, the good news is I’ve been carving out time to write the next Mason Ashford thriller – Into The Fire. I’m about 25,000 words into the first draft. This is a different Mason than I’ve seen before. The gloves are off and he’s more ruthless this time around. And, despite his numerous faults, Mason may have a love interest. There are also some new characters I think you’ll like meeting. If you have read Nowhere To Run, you’ll know who I’m talking about… If you haven’t read it, I’m about to make your day.

🎧 Nowhere to Run Now In Audio

I’m delighted to announce that Nowhere To Run, the latest Mason Ashford adventure, is now available in audio through Audible. The talented Wayne Mitchell again gets on the mic and voices your favorite characters from the Mason universe. You can find Nowhere to Run on Amazon and Audible.

Mason’s past comes back to collect a debt. When his friends are made to pay, can he save them – and himself?

Retired US Marshal Mason Ashford spends his nights checking IDs and tossing drunks. His dull world shatters when he’s framed for a murder he didn’t commit.

Tangled in a dangerous web woven by mobsters, a convict after revenge, and a crooked federal agent, Mason finds himself hunted by none other than the US Marshal who trained him.

On the run and with nowhere to turn, Mason’s only lifeline is a mobster he put into witness protection—a move that proves more dangerous than he could have imagined.

As his closest friends become victims, Mason gambles it all to save them all and clear his name.

Introducing Patrick Weill

I read Patrick’s first book and was instantly absorbed by the story. Fast-paced with well crafted characters, The Mazatlan Showdown is a heck of a story taking place in one of my favorite places on the planet – San Diego. If you like my work, you’ll love Patrick’s.
